The horizontal silo plant was purchased in 2005 and has never been subjected to operational testing, but only to empty testing in 2010.
DETAILS
Designed to allow buffer storage for feeding the mine's main belt line into the shaft.
The silo has a trapezoidal section with dimensions of 1000/3900 mm, height 1800 mm, total length 391.6 m, angle of the walls 38° with respect to the vertical, an overall length of approximately 390 m, which ensure a geometric capacity of 2000 m3 and effective of 1500 m3.
Consisting of 78 modules, each 5000 mm long and two specular modules at the beginning and end of the silo, the thickness of the walls is 8 mm.
The individual modules are assembled together by bolting; the discharge is ensured for each module by two 1000 x 800 mm openings, complete with flange to which the electromechanical feeder is connected.
Downstream of the RPS bunker, a scale pre-existing the installation of the silo is installed, for the measurement of the incoming flow.
NOTE
Machine located in a mine at a depth of 400 metres. The collection must be supervised technicians for safety reasons and carried out by specialized personnel
