N. 3 prefabricated concrete caissons of considerable size intended for the consolidation and quaying of the semi-sunken breakwaters located near the stretch of water in front of the Iron Pier of the industrial port of Oristano (so-called artefacts).
These are prefabricated reinforced concrete caissons, transported floating and sunk with water. They are a structural typology typical of maritime constructions used not only for external defense works of ports but also for internal works and offshore structures. The artifacts can be put back to the float by emptying the cells constituting the caisson and transported to a new site for subsequent use. The boxes in question are in fact in an excellent state of conservation and are therefore still usable. They have a plan size of 22.00 x 10.00 meters with one meter wings on the long side of the base and a height of 12.90 meters as shown in the following project drawings. The above dimensions are currently in use for the construction of docks and therefore it is believed that it is possible to enter the manufactured products market.
