HULL
Hull lamination/rolling
• The rolling of the hull has been consolidated in vacuum and post-treated in the furnace according to the rolling specif i cations; the entire process had been controlled with a sophisticated temperature monitoring system (thermo-hygrometer).
• The hull core is in linear pvc mate r i a l (CORECELL™ or AIREX® R63).
The external shell laminate o f t h e h u l l : f rom the inte r i o r towards the exterior
• 2 X 1,156 g/m2 E-Glass / Warp Triaxial 90/±45°
• 40 mm CORECELL™ (A800/A600/P500)
• 890 g/m2 KEVLAR® / E- Glass hybrid f iber 0/90°
• 2 X 1,156 g/m2 E-Glass / Warp Triaxial 90/±45°
• 290 g/m2 E-glass plain texture
• Carbon f ibers have been used as f illing layers and as loca l reinforcements in respect with the rolling plans.
Transverse structure
The rolling of the f lat panels, bulkheads and longitudinals has been carried out on the same rolling plan; as specif ied in the designs, the core material used for the entire internal structure is
AIREX® C70.75 Pl.
Structural bulkheads of the hull
The pvc (AIREX® C70) foam in the reticulated form has been used for the structural members.
A complete water tight bulkhead on the por tside/ starboard side at 2.5 m, on the por tside at 5 m,
around the engine room with water tight door at 22.63 m.
Chain plates
All the chain plates have been built in composite material and are incorporated to the
hull struc ture. Bushings and pivots are made in stainless steel 2205 and applied stiffeners are
made in carbon f iber.
DECKS AND CABINS
Deck and cabin rolling
The rolling of the deck and the cabins has been consolidated in vacuum and post-treated
in an appropriate furnace according to the specifications of the rolling; the entire process had been controlled with a sophisticated temperature monitoring system (thermohygrometer).
Deck rolling: from the exterior towards the interior

• 1 X 1,156 g/m2 E-Glass / Warp Triaxial 0/±45°
• Carbon f ibers have been used as f illing layers and as loca l reinforcements, which is in respect with the rolling plans.
The bow beam
• The cross beam is of semi-elliptical shape
(600 X 400 mm section and 11,000 mm length) and is rolled with glass and f iber.
Bowsprit – compression beam
• The vessel is equipped with a bowsprit in composite material with a total length of
9,000 mm; in correspondence with the code zero constra i n t s , f o restay and forestay sail, the
struc ture has been adequate l y reinforced with carbon fiber
